The foundations of an old winery from the 19th century are the pillars over which the Castiblanque family have built an ambitious wine-making project in Campo de Criptana municipality. It is in fact an open space where tradition, friendliness and artisan work join with the most modern wine production technology.
It has 120 hectares of vineyard and a spectacular tasting room located in the former room where casks were repaired. It is the ideal classroom used now for training on the culture and world of wine; an unmissable place for wine lovers.
ITS WINES:
Among its vines Garnacha, Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot varieties are grown to produce red wines; and Airén, Macabeo, Chardonnay and small grain Muscatel for white wines. Their trading labels are Baldor, Ilex and Solamente.
SERVICES:
Courses, visits and a Wine Club. It offers a visit around the winery for kids accompanied by 'Blanquita and Negrita Castiblanque’ to discover the must making and tasting processes. At the end they are given a learning guide with wine vocabulary and about wine culture.
