Pocholo Restaurant- Grill house
Torija (Guadalajara)Grill-house specialized in traditional cuisine from Castile, which roasted pigletwas praised by the sociologist and gastronomic journalist Lorenzo Díaz, in his book La Cocina del Quijote (The Quixote cuisine).
Among the rest of the dishes in the menu, you should not miss migas castellanas (Castilian-style fried bread crumbs), duelos y quebrantos (scrambled eggs mixed with chorizo, ham and bacon), Alcarria-style pisto (similar to ratatouille), leek millefeuillewith shrimps, lamb’s lettuce and goat cheese...and a total of 33 well-braided starters, which look more like the tongue-twister "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers...".
From here you can visit Torija medieval castle, which will become the Guadalajara Province Interpretation Center.
