MAIN ATTRACTIONS
It is a unique place to contemplate the meadow that the aquatic plants under the surface of the lagoons form. Over our heads, we will see the western marsh harrier and the black kite flying. The concentrations of the latter in summer season are spectacular.
WHAT WE’LL SEE
More than 20 lagoons, some up to 15 metres deep. They are embedded in a karst landscape, formed by erosion of plaster, one of the few in Europe. It is therefore an area of international scientific importance thanks to the peculiarities of the circulation of groundwater, its great biodiversity and the discovery of new species, as well as sinkholes.
