VisitCalle del Trabuco, s/n
This building situated in the historical centre of the city has had many different purposes: castle, headquarters of the Inquisition tribunal in the Cuenca area, barracks during the Carlist wars, regional prison and historical archive.
It’s a free-standing building with four floors and an interesting crest on the doorway and it constitutes an important landscape landmark in the shaping of the city due to its size and dimensions. It is assigned to hold documentation and for administrative work.

It can only be visited on the outside.
