Extraordinary garden cloister

The Mona Cloister is an extraordinary architectural complex from the 16th century, with a striking restoration of the ceramics that cover it, and with the restoration of the cloister, in general, the central garden, and the planting of a cinnamon tree in it, referring to the origin of its name.

It was used for the celebration of processions in the Comendadoras Convent and it perfectly illustrates the common characteristic of the convents in Toledo, which consists of incorporating urban structures over the centuries to create complex architectures with very different artistic elements.
