The Seminario Conciliar of San Julián seminary is located in Plaza de la Merced square and next to the convent and church going by the same name, it offers the visitor a corner with three Baroque façades that leave no one indifferent.
It is a building founded in the 18th century upon an old palazzo from the 16th century, on the remains of the palace belonging to the Marquis of Siruela. Besides its magnificent doorway, inside there is a highly important library, a Rococo-style meeting room and a splendid Gothic altarpiece created by the Master of Horcajo.
