Visit Amador de los Ríos Roman Thermal Baths | TCLM

These thermal baths allow us to glimpse the monumentality that Toledo reached, in imitation of the capital of the Empire, Rome. The use of lime concrete -opus caementicium- or the arch formed by stone voussoirs, meant real engineering revolutions in Hispania. Here we can see part of the system of clean water supply to the city, and the supply to the largest public buildings, on which a spa or thermal complex was set up.
