Located in the municipality of Huete, over the Mayor River valley, at a height of 900 meters, we find Uribes MaderoWinery and Vineyards. It launched its foray into producing artisan wine in 1980 and from then on…They haven’t stopped!
The vineyard is a really uniquepagobecause of its natural characteristics. Altitude means cold, and cold means freshness. This special microclimate, along with their soil composition, have their impact on the quality and the flavor of the grape.
ITS WINES:
Its location in the Mayor River valley, place Garnacha, Tempranillo, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon in a unique terroir where they can express their singularity. With these varieties they make four red wines full of personality: Opta, Calzadilla Classic, Calzadilla Allegro and Gran Calzadilla.
SERVICES:
The winery regularly organizes wine tourism days for groups and companies, during which they include a welcome time, a visit to the vineyard, tastings and lunch in the winery. If you want to get a bit deeper into the wine culture, they also organize tasting courses.
