After some other wine projects around Spain, their infatuation with the vine took them to Toledo. In 1999 the renowned businessman José María Entrecanales decided to begin anew relying on the advice of the Australian Richard Smart and the oenologist Miguel Ángel de Gregorio. An ambitious undertaking embodied in a vineyard with innovative wine techniques and from which high-quality and intense-personality wines are obtained.
In 1999 they started planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot varieties. The first vintage of this winery was sold by the end of 2003. All Arrayán wines are included in the Méntrida Designation of Origin.
ITS WINES:
Its wines are organised within three main brands, with their corresponding varieties. La Verdosa can be Selección, First Wine or Coupage. The Arrayán label is found in Rosado, Selección, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Premium typologies. The other one of their brand is Estela de Arrayán wine.
