Description of the party Holy Sahúco Christ pilgrimage in Peñas de San Pedro | TCLM

Taking the Christ image from Peñas de San Pedro to his shrine in Sahúco hamlet, and by the relays among the four pilgrims that take it. Attired with white trousers and shirt and a blue or red sash at the waist, they carry the image in strict order along the 15 kilometers. Upon arrival thousands of people wait for them, willing to watch how the image is taken out of the sepulcher and put on the frame, to go on with the procession to the Peñas church.

The pilgrimage starts at 8 in the morning, and everyone wishing to ask for a pilgrim credential, which he will have to stamp at 4 spots along the itinerary, to get the pilgrimage proving letter.
