MAIN ATTRACTIONS
Walking on the salt between the infinite sky and the plain of Ciudad Real is an unique experience, just like this place. One of the few saline places of Castile-La Mancha, where we can find Lygeum, similar to esparto, which gives name to the place.
WHAT WE’LL SEE
Birds watching fans will be able to see stone-curlew, the pin-tailed sandgrouse, or little bustard, satisfies with the great amount of arthropods that the saline ground produces - its food. People who prefer minerals will gather interesting samples of outcrops of salts. Nature lovers will be able to take a walk enjoying all the previous things, and specially that steppe landscape which you have to come to visit.

Open access. This "microreserve" is located between Membrilla and the Solana united by the N-430. From Ciudad Real by the A-43.
