MAIN ATTRACTIONS
In the lower mountain range of Cuenca and 50 km from the provincial capital we find the charming town of Pajroncillo, surrounded by invaluable archaeological sites, above all from the Neolithic and Bronze Age, and beautiful natural landscapes, such as that of Corbeteras. All of this, together with its simple urban complex, make this small town, with barely 25 inhabitants, a place with special charm that all who come to visit it will remember.
WHAT WE’LL SEE
The urban complex of the town has the calle Real as a kind of spinal column. Walking along it we can pass through the whole hamlet and arrive at the church. At the entrance to the town we can still see an old mill, nowadays used as an electricity factory. Among the houses the visitor can still find some examples of traditional mountain houses that maintain within view their wooden frameworks.
ACCESS
Open access to the urban areas.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
Do not leave without visiting the archaeological sites in the area of the Gabriel River, nor the Cristinas bridge built and financed by the Convent of the Holy Cross of Carboneras in the 16th century.
