MAIN ATTRACTIONS

Castejón is located in La Manchuela, and stretches along a plain. Amongs its iconic buildings, the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción church from the 16th century, of a great simplicity, or the single-nave Caridad hermitage.

Near here, we find the Chozo de los Pastores, a hut which was built by piling cone-shaped stones for the supplying and shade.  The industrial architecture stands out because of the caves.

In the popular architecture of industrial type, Castejón offers us the wine caves, dug with picks in the nearby hillside, of varying depth, and whose purpose is the wine production, maceration and storage.
