MAIN ATTRACTIONS

The town sits on the right bank of the Tagus River and belongs to the region of la Alcarria. At the end of the town we have the beautiful Entrepeñas Reservoir which gives it a unique landscape. This land is rich in the production of oil. In the town center the Main Square and the church of the Assumption stand out.

WHAT WE’LL SEE

It is worth sitting a while in the plaza to admire the houses with porticoes and the traditional architecture of Alcarria in their entirety. The church of the Assumption is a highlight of said architecture, and inside it houses a marvelous altar with fresco painting and some spectacular Baroque altarpieces from the 18th century.

ACCESS

Access is open to the public, respecting the hours of worship.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

The hermitage of the Virgin of Solitude, from the 16th century, and the pillory, from the 17th century and categorized as an Asset of Cultural Interest, are must-sees during your stop here.
