The marvelous scent of rosemary and the beauty of its architecture tell us that we are 62km away from Toledo and have entered the fantastic village of El Romeral. It has earned its name well (El Romeral ~ related to rosemary) due to the large quantity of this aromatic plant that we find throughout its municipality. Once here, we can’t miss entering the hermitage of Virgin of the Tabernacle.
WHAT WE’LL SEE
It is located in the municipal cemetery, and it was built in the 16th century. The mudejar style of its coffered ceiling, tightened at the corners with carvings in the footings, will without a doubt fascinate us.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
Other monuments and places of interest are the Esparto Museum, the church of the Assumption and the hermitage of Saint Sebastian, from the 16th century. And if we want to feel like Don Quijote, we can contemplate the beautiful figures of its four windmills.
