MAIN ATTRACTIONS
Membrilla is in the most characteristic part of La Mancha, in the middle of Don Quixote Route. Full of the architecture of La Mancha, it preserves, among its popular buildings, the Rezuelo Mill. It is part of a group of eleven mills: Chico Mill, El Paso Mill, el Comendador Mill, Juárez Mill, Diego del Vado Mill, Pedro González Mill, María Martín Mill, Piña Mill, Rezuelo Mill, el Blanquillo Mill and Santa Ana Mill. Nowadays, they are in different ruin states, except the Rezuelo Mill, which owes its remodelling to the Escuela Taller of Membrilla.
WHAT WE’LL SEE
The Rezuelo Mill, in the Azuer basin, can be visited nowadays and, thanks to the remodelling, we can see the different parts of its sophisticated machinery. There is a centre offering information about the mills and a educational room in which the thorough industrial construction beneath its apparent rural simplicity is explained.
