The contemporary art reminds us to something current and alternative, a groundbreaking art which has nothing to do with the ancient art. But when this art is exhibited in a monastery from the 18th century, the frame fits perfectly with the rest of the painting.
That is what is kept in the corridors of Florencio de la Fuente Contemporary Art Gallery, an alternative and groundbreaking place which is part of the large offer of contemporary art in the province of Cuenca. Its exhibitions, some of them temporary and travelling, shows that aspect of the most subjective and emotional art, which leads its visitors to have different opinions of only one art work. Its corridors are full of paintings and sculptures, in a motley tour where the architecture is an excellent enclave, such as the amazing Column Room, a piece of art itself.
