The Esperanza Oratory is known amongst the people of Cuenca as “La Esperancilla”. It is a small chapel with only one room and ancient origins. Its façade is crowned by a bulrush with three gaps.
It is twinned with the Roman church San Juan de Letrán and therefore, since the 16th century has enjoyed pastoral privileges.
