Toledo's Defense
Visit
It is also called "Antigua Puerta de Bisagra" (Old Hinge Door), it retains its primitive structure, protected by caliphal robust towers. It shows a horseshoe arch with a lintel, and crowned in the keystone with a Visigothic relief. Its three superior arches and windows are product of the Mudejar remodelling, which introduces an inner portcullis to prevent enemies' entrance.
