Visit
As an ornamental gate, rebuilt by Alonso de Covarrubias, it has lost its defensive character and the entrance through the old city wall. Its monumental exterior body is formed by a triumphal arch with bossage blocks of stone, crowned by the monumental coat of arms of the city, which was the characteristic of the Emperor Carlos V.
