This preserve occupies 3 kilometers in the Henares River, one of the most important fluvial courses in Guadalajara. Between 4 and 6 meters wide, it alternates pools with outpourings, with the whole space being fordable and highly interesting stretches.
After the big pool formed under the bridge, a short stretch of about 30 meters is the ideal place to use the dead drift nymph and the streamer, and enjoy a sports fishing while you confront a trout that does well plunging right into stream.
300 meters down the stream from the point mentioned above and after a stop of the waters, which form a pool, you can skillfully fish.
Down the stream, the river splits into two over 100 meters. The left stream keeps astute and old trout, as it is an area that does not get restocked. Brambles and thick vegetation make working from the bank difficult.
The central part of the preserve, a poplar grove with good shadows and appropriate patches for fly-fish, is ideal for fly-fishermen who like difficult areas.
When the river brings plenty of water it is better to look for the banks with big dead drift nymph, golden heads and streamers, although the latter is difficult to handle because of the great amount of fish eggs.
Restocking is carried out every week including trophy trout of the rainbow variety. 15 daily public offer licenses.
