MAIN ATTRACTIONS
Located in the municipal district of Solana del Pino, on the banks of Montoro dam, this volcano is one of the manifestations of volcanism found inside Valle de Alcudia and Sierra Madrona Natural Park. Alhorín volcano is a not very sharp and wide hill due to different tracks.
WHAT WE’LL SEE
The landscape is marked by the alternation of hills and valleys modelled unevenly over time. Its Northern limit, Montoro River and Montoro and Montorillo dams, in the Valley of Alcudia. Cultural resources of great importance such as Diógenes mines nearby. Large natural resources in terms of vegetation and flora, and also wildlife: hunting resources (wild boar, roe deer, deer), Iberian fauna (wolf, fox, lynx...) and a long list of birds.
